On Tuesday and Wednesday a nutrition came to our class and taught us lot's about our food and what is good for you. On the first day she told us a lot about everyday foods and occasional foods. For the second session the nutrition taught us how to read food labels and how to tell if your food is healthy or not. Then on Thursday We went on a class trip to New world and read real food labels. After we had our lesson we bought some ingredients for smoothies and came back to class

How microbes help with your gut
All you need to know to get healthy
Have you always been eating unhealthy and you just can’t stop? Do you just want to know what to eat for a change. Well eat fermented food it helps with your gut and makes you healthy. You will just fell the change if you look after your microbes, take prebiotics and probiotics, and you have a balanced diet. That’s all the steps to have a healthy gut.
Microbes
Your microbes are a very important part of your body. There are more of them than your actual organisms. What they do is when you eat food you can’t Physically digest the microbes the eat it for you. The microbes are protected by your immune system so the stronger your immune the better your microbes work and stay alive. Sometimes your microbes don’t form very well depending on how you were born. There are lots of different microbes some of them like unhealthy foods some of them like healthy food.
Diets
You need to keep a healthy diet or your microbes can take over. If you eat to much healthy food or to much unhealthy food they just take over. If you ate a lot of unhealthy things then your unhealthy loving bacteria will Multiply and then they will take up to much space and force the healthy food loving microbes out. After the microbes get to strong they just take over your stomach and then you have no more room inside of it. That is were prebiotics a probiotics comes in.
Prebiotics and probiotics
Prebiotics and probiotics are completely different things even though they sound the same. Probiotics are more microbes and prebiotics is the food for the microbes. If you don’t take probiotics then you don’t have unuf microbes. If you don’t take prebiotics then there isn't enough food for the microbes. If you take a lot of probiotics and no prebiotics then you will have too much microbes and not enuf food for them.
What happens when you don’t look after your microbes
Microbes are very important parts inside of your body because they keep you alive. If you don’t look after them then you will die. The main reason is to eat healthy so that you keep healthy and in shape. You don’t know what could happen if your not careful.
