Common house rules in other parts of the world

In our class we have been learning about rules for when we go back to school. One of the tasks we had to do was find some common house rules in other parts of the world. I have got three countries.

                       

Five Interesting Rules And Laws.

In our class our Topic is rules and one of the tasks were to reasearch some interesting laws and rules in other countries. Here is a bunch of diferent laws that I found interesting.

                         

A day in the life of my cat

At school our writing task is to write about what being our pet would be like. This is a day in the life of my cat lacy. It is bending the truth so don't beleive all of it. I like writing narritives and this is mostly one. I hope you like it.

A day in the life of lacy

 I woke up with the sun shining on my back, and I thought “not another human filled day”. I walk up to the door and start scratching on it “MEOW”. That should get their attention. I wait at the door but nothing happens. “MEOW”. Finally the curtain is pulled back and my humans are looking at me very grumpily. They open the door and I jump inside and nestle down onto a giant weird soft elevated sitting device. Just as I get comfy a human comes along and  starts having a discussion with another human. A plate of food is put on the table in front of me and just as I am about to put my head up to start eating it, the sitting device tips up and I go sliding onto the floor. No respect I say.

With that food incident I am starting to get hungry. I walk over to the nearest human and meow at them. It looks like they are holding food so I follow them out the door. They walk straight past my food bowl and over to my rivals, the chickens. I’ll show those humans who is more important. I sprint to the chicken run and jump over the fence. The chickens are startled and start running away, but I’m faster. “SQUAK SQUAK”. I catch up to them and pin them to the ground. A victory for the cat. I look back at the human who is charging at me waving a spanner. I am not easily defeated. I charge at the human who is very surprised and disarm him. I turn around to finish the battle, But then I am picked up by the collar and taken back to the house.

The humans have put the food in the bowl but now they won’t let me outside. I am content to find a way to get out and until then it is war with the humans. A blue mouse has been dropped on my head several times and when a blue mouse is dropped on your head you just have to play with it. But this is war so I must focus on taking the food bowl. One of the humans hands isn dangling off the edge of the couch and I know what to do. I need those hands to open the door. Charge. DONK. the hand moved one second before I got there and I went thudding into the couch. I land on the floor and crawl back to my base, the Curtain. As I am plotting my next move one of the humans is staring at me and it is kind of weird. All of a sudden it starts to walk towards my base. I am ready to defend it at all costs, but then something strange happens. The human opens the door. Well I’m not waiting to get killed, I ran right out of there and to the food bowl. Victory.

Pet Sketch

In our class our topic is all about pets. One of the activities was make a pencil sketch of our pet. This is a sketch of lacy my cat. It was very hard to draw and it took me a long time. I hope you like it.

The Cheerocaturtle. The most amazing pet ever.

In our class we have made a mix of as many pets as we like. I have taken pictures off the internet and taken away parts of the animal so that I am left with just the parts that I need. I have joined them together to make my creation, The Cheerocaturtle. I hope you like it.

The Cheerocaturtle (pronounced, Chee-roc-a-turtle.)

The Cheerocaturtle (pronounced, Chee-roc-a-turtle.) The Cheecrocaturtle is an amazing pet that is ideal for any temperature or terrain. They come in sizes from as big as your hand to the size of you. The most ideal pet size is from your hand to your arm. This creature will eat anything from cat food to little bugs (depending on size). It will only eat meat though. It lives for around 30 years and will be only $30 to purchase. It has the ability to run really fast, protect itself from danger and have a powerful nip. It enjoys swimming and can breath under water as well as playing around in the long grassy areas. It likes to run and catch smaller animals as well as swimming around and through obstacles, it will enjoy any game.

Wing Of Fire Word Search

I have made a word search for a series I have been reading called wings of fire. I made one with pen and paper but you probably can't see it so I did an online version. Hope you like it.

Appliance graph

This is the link to my graph on a learning activity that we did at school. We were given a whole bunch of appliances and then we had to rate them with how much we needed them. This graph shows the results.

The Dishputawasher

I have adapted the ever normal dishwasher into a machine that puts all of the dishes away as well as washing them. You put the dishes in and press the start button and it all happens like a normal dishwasher. But then once the dishes are washed then a robotic arm comes and picks up the dishes and puts them on a conveyor belt. Then the dishes are taken into there separate draws and all then it is finished. You may have to zoom in to see the diagram properly though.

The Drinkanator

This is my stop motion animation that I made for school. We had to make our own appliances, so this one is called the drinkanator. I hope you like it.

Work interview

Recently we have been interviewing people in our local community about there work. Today we interviewed Jarred here is my reflection. 

I think that it was interesting learning all the jobs that I didn’t know that he did. I also think that it would have been cool to work for the air force and boring blinking the eyes of the puppet fish on a kids TV show.

At school our topic is FIX IT so we have been researching all about Child Labour and Fair Trade. If you don't know what fair trade is it is a company trying to stop Child Labour. We decided to Write some poems on some Fair Trade Sacks. So we looked up some other peoples poems and then we got to choose what type of poem we wanted. Our teacher brought in some Fair Trade Sacks With Some Fair Trade Coffee Beans Left In Them And The Sacks Were From A Fair Trade Restaurant.

We used Indian Ink on our fair trade sacks and I used a stencils to put my art on my sack here is some pictures of mine

How microbes help with your gut

All you need to know to get healthy

Have you always been eating unhealthy and you just can’t stop? Do you just want to know what to eat for a change. Well eat fermented food it helps with your gut and makes you healthy. You will just fell the change if you look after your microbes, take prebiotics and probiotics, and you have a balanced diet. That’s all the steps to have a healthy gut.

Microbes

Your microbes are a very important part of your body. There are more of them than your actual organisms. What they do is when you eat food you can’t Physically  digest the microbes the eat it for you. The microbes are protected by your immune system so the stronger your immune the better your microbes work and stay alive. Sometimes your microbes don’t form very well depending on how you were born. There are lots of different microbes some of them like unhealthy foods some of them like healthy food.

Diets

You need to keep a healthy diet or your microbes can take over. If you eat to much healthy food or to much unhealthy food they just take over. If you ate a lot of unhealthy things then your unhealthy loving bacteria will Multiply  and then they will take up to much space and force the healthy food loving microbes out. After the microbes get to strong they just take over your stomach and then you have no more room inside of it. That is were prebiotics a probiotics comes in.

Prebiotics and probiotics

Prebiotics and probiotics are completely different things even though they sound the same. Probiotics are more microbes and prebiotics is the food for the microbes. If you don’t take probiotics then you don’t have unuf microbes. If you don’t take prebiotics then there isn't enough food for the microbes. If you take a lot of probiotics and no prebiotics then you will have too much microbes and not enuf food for them.

What happens when you don’t look after your microbes

Microbes are very important parts inside of your body because they keep you alive. If you don’t look after them then you will die. The main reason is to eat healthy so that you keep healthy and in shape. You don’t know what could happen if your not careful.

Mould experiment

In our class we were recently learning fungi. After that since fungi is mould I did an experiment on mould.
